VFX for Indie Filmmakers

Co-written with Shaina Holmes.   

This book is an introduction to visual effects for independent and low-budget filmmakers.   It familiarizes filmmakers with  VFX processes, terminology, budgeting, hiring, best practices, and timelines and explains how  filmmakers can work with VFX professionals  on any budget.     The text is accompanied by real world examples and interviews from independent filmmakers, VFX artists, and  VFX adjacent industry professionals.

The book is scheduled to  be published by Routledge Publishing in late 2023.
